Instrument Choices
These instruments are available at several reputable vendors. If you already own an instrument, it can be used in this group. We recommend making sure it is good playing condition before the group begins.

First semester of Beginning Band percussion will focus on drumming. Students wishing to do percussion will need to purchase:
1) Pair of drumsticks (Vic Firth SD-1 or equivalent)
2) Drum pad with stand
3) A snare drum for home practice is encouraged, but not required.
Intermediate and Advanced Band will need to bring Sticks and Mallets in a stick bag.

'Small Hand'
Instrument Choices
These are ideal for younger children who might not be able to fully cover or reach all the notes on the instruments.
These instruments are sold by a handful of vendors, and may take a week or more to arrive. Click on the instrument name for options and pricing from one of the available vendors.
(Students participating in the Advanced Band should be on a standard band instruments made out of the appropriate materials and the proper instrument color.)
